R.I.P. my stoic friend, my independent companion.

Joy Joy was one of my most versatile performance dogs and accomplished 15 title in different performance venues and earned several performance awards, such as Total Dog and Performance Award of Merit. She exceled in obedience and rally, but her outmost talents are for tracking and herding. Her effortless ability to track is one of her strongest genetic traits and she had consistently passed it to her progeny. Joy Joy was an independent dog that prefers to operate on her own. She solved problems without a need of constant instructions from her handler or to be near her handler.

Joy Joy had a high prey drive and medium food drive. She was protective and instinctively protected us and our property. In social settings she was friendly, but not needy or pushy, she just hanged and minded her own business. She was an excellent swimmer and loved to race with other dogs. She was super competitive and always strives to be first. At home, she was a pure couch potato and very relaxed.

Joy Joy was retired from breeding after producing 5 litters. She had passed to her puppies her excellent conformation, prey drive, protective instincts and healthy joints. She and her children had produced many Grand Champions, UKC Top Ten qualifiers, dogs titled in obedience, agility, rally, barn hunt, nose work, herding, tracking, and BH. She had stamped her mark of excellence in her progeny and I am proud to own, train and compete with some of her offspring.
